We, IBAH, remain committed to the education and promotion of the broker distribution channel in our local community of Hamilton, Ontario.
To better communicate this with the public, we have entered into a new agreement with a new website design company to both increase our online visibility and improve our online capabilities.
The first step in our online odyssey, led us to the establishment of our association LinkedIn page and our twitter account (@IBAHamilton). Our LinkedIn page is intended for our online participation in the LinkedIn community, where many of our members are already active. To reach a broader public audience we have also chosen twitter and have been “tweeting” our events and blog posts since December 2015.
The next step is the aforementioned website, where you will be able to find a local broker, learn more about insurance, and access information regarding our recent news and events. One of our new capabilities with our new website will be the ability to better track our effectiveness and reach of our online presence, utilizing Google Analytics. An additional feature, which we are very excited about, is our ability for online registration and payment. Going forward, if you are interested in utilizing this new feature, you will be able to register and pay online for any of our events.
