Job Description:
The role of the Account Administrator/Technical Service Representative (TSR) is to provide valuable support and assistance in the maintenance of new and existing commercial/trucking clients. By providing support to the sales and service team, the TSR fosters growth, retention, and drives new business. This role involves interaction with a diverse group of stakeholders including clients, Sales and Account Managers
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service and an excellent experience at every interaction
- Support the sales and service functions
- Data entry into EPIC: customer information, policy information, coverages and billing
- Manage activities in EPIC by following up on open activities and closing activities upon completion of required assignment(s)
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Preparation of Letters
- Issuance of Certificates of Insurance/Confirmation of Insurance
- Issue Temporary Liability Cards
- Orders Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) and Autoplus Reports
- Bond Processing
- Keep current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflow processes
- Actively participate in training initiatives
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years Commercial Insurance experience preferred
- Post-secondary education – Insurance Diploma preferred
- Passion for client care; committed to delivering a top-notch client experience
- Possesses and displays professional presentation and demeanour and a solid understanding of the Commercial insurance business in a service-focused environment
- Self managing with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player—ability to adapt to and collaborate with various team members and individuals
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on priorities
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, experience with TAM, EPIC and industry software and rating engines
- Professional, reliable and courteous to clients and colleagues
