What a fantastic turnout we had, with over 120 people attending this year’s IBAH Annual Summer BBQ!
With vendors, great food, networking, and catching up with coworkers in the insurance industry, you would think, how could this not be a great event? The sun shining, the breathtaking view of the Hamilton Harbour, all while networking and meeting the people we work hard with at companies, brokers, and vendors…excellent stuff!
This year boasted generous prizes from our vendors and from the IBAH, sending home 21 of our participants with gift baskets, lawn chairs, gift cards, beach blankets and water bottles. Prizes were given to the male & female best dressed, and well as our best decorated both which was voted on by the board of directors.
We would like to thank all of our vendors and participants. We could not do what we do if you are not involved. We would like to thank the Waterfront Centre, for their fantastic location and facilities, and the delicious food/drink and dessert (yes, dessert is in a separate category J), and making everything easy for us to plan.
Will there be a BBQ next year, and what will it look like? YES! This is one of our favourite events on the board (as well as Meet the Underwriter, stay tuned). GOLF TOURNAMENT ON AUGUST 14TH, MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP, ATTENDANCE IS LIMITED!
