Job Description:
The successful candidate will require: above average service and communication skills, planning and organization abilities, and the capability to meet service time lines.
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in Insurance (Commercial experience an asset)
- Work well in a team environment
- Working knowledge of Tam/Epic, Microsoft Word, Excel an asset
- Current RIBO license necessary
- Must be able to prioritize work and work under pressure
- Must be professional, courteous
- Strong organizational and time management skills are required
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy
- CAIB, CIP, CRM designations would be an asset
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new business, renewals,
endorsements and cancellations - Update underwriting information
- Prepare pre-renewal client material
- Prepare client premium proposals
- Bind coverage and order Policies
- Check and send out policy documents
- Prepare insurance binders, invoices & billing material
- Arrange premium financing quotes & contracts
- Review lease and other contracts
- Respond to client inquiries & requests
- Correspond with underwriters
