CAIB 2 Program Outline
16 TECHNICAL HOURS Commercial lines including property forms, underwriting, additional coverage, transportation, crime and business interruption.The Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker Program (CAIB) will increase your understanding of insurance and it's impact, not to mention it will increase your credibility as a broker.
To establish yourself as a trusted insurance advisor, you need to have in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of property and casualty insurance. You need the CAIB program. You will immerse yourself in the study of Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Brokerage Management. Each course in this four-course program culminates in a national examination. Upon successful completion, eligible candidates are awarded the nationally recognized professional designation CAIB.

Been in the business since the early seventies on the company side. Became a broker in 1983. Was office manager for 2 brokerages. Brokerage was purchased by Pearson Dunn in 2000 and I have been here since. Achieved my CAIB in 2003 with honours and my CIP in 2005. Have been facilitating CAIB courses since 2004.
