Sensitivity Training: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

  • Session Highlights:
    • Understanding of the customers emotional state during their property loss
    • Difference between sympathy and empathy, when to apply it
    • Difference between how male and female energy process losses and how they respond to the same situation
    • Approach to manage customer expectations and anger
    • Establishing rapport in an authentic way
    • Working with customers to ensure smooth claims handling

The Sensitivity Training promotes an understanding of the customer regardless of the situation, and stresses how everyone can have an impact on and be sensitive to the insured while assisting with their claim. This training is focused on the pinnacles of customer relationships and provides great value to the broker, insurer, and contractror.

This isn’t just about checking off three credits. The session is built around situations we all encounter when working with people during some of the most stressful moments of their lives.

Stephanie will cover understanding a customer’s emotional state during a property loss, the difference between sympathy and empathy, managing expectations and anger, building authentic rapport, and ultimately creating a smoother claims experience for everyone involved.

If you’re still in need of RIBO credits, we’d love to have you join us. It’s a great opportunity to earn three accredited hours in one morning while taking part in a session that has some real-world value for anyone working with insureds and claims.
